LIFESolutions offers job counseling, job development and on-the-job support services to adults who have been diagnosed with a mental illness (past or present), through Employment Services. These services ease the transition into employment, and are designed to ensure that individuals have access to cost-effective, quality services that help them achieve the highest level of employment their abilities will allow.

Objectives of Employment Services are to enhance the individual’s ability to function as independently as possible; and, to provide opportunities for each individual to realize his/her employment potential.

To be eligible for Employment Services, the individual must have:

• received mental health services
• worked intermittently, or not at all, in competitive employment; and,
• been determined by assessment of rehabilitation potential, to have a need for support services in order to perform competitive work, and have the potential to work in a supported employment setting.

Employment Services provides many services including Career Planning, Job Readiness Training, Assessment, and Placement, all in an effort to help individuals achieve their career goals.
