ReConnect

Connect means to link, to bond, to unite. And, at ReConnect we are establishing or re-establishing a connection for adults who have received mental health services, which has held back or stopped their personal growth. ReConnect is a peer-support center where adults can gather for peer-interaction, education, empowerment and recovery.
ReConnect offers socialization, educational and recreational opportunities, contrasting the rejection and stigmatization faced so often by individuals with mental health issues. It is a place of aspiration and compassion.
ReConnect is open to any individual, 18 years of age or older, who has received mental health services. The center provides a safe place and supportive environment where individuals are able to regain confidence, rebuild social skills, develop new friendships, and engage in learning – all to aid in building productive and independent lifestyles for individuals, with peers who understand the effect a mental illness has on the whole person.
Activities offered include: life skills classes (budgeting, self care, etc.), meals/dining out, arts and crafts, games, field trips, sports, shopping excursions, music, parties, dancing, support groups, and much more.
ReConnect’s goals are to educate, enhance and enrich individuals’ lives by providing a myriad of experiences and opportunities for personal growth. LIFESolutions staff and ReConnect peer-members together strive to make each center a safe, comfortable and special place to attend.
